Diverting recycled water to irrigate hundreds of millions of dollars worth of crops on the Darling Downs and the Lockyer Valley is back on the federal government agenda after almost two decades.
The ballpark figure for the cost of the NuWater "Recycled wastewater to Darling Downs project" is estimated at "less than $600 million."
